WELCOME TO: EMPOWERING LITTLE MINDS - EARLY YEARS & SEN, EDUCATION CONSULTANCY
Empowering Little Minds is a unique, Independent Education Consultancy, owned by Judith Riddell, an experienced teacher & Special Educational Needs (SEN) Specialist, Early years & Education consultant and trainer for charities, parents & professionals.
HQ is based in Riddell Wood, Ballynahinch N.Ireland, but training and sensory sessions are available throughout N.Ireland to provide personalised education services.
Riddell Wood is idyllically positioned in a private woodland outside Ballynahinch, only a 15 minute drive from Downpatrick and 35 minutes from Belfast or Lisburn. I have 1 indoor classroom specifically designed to create a homely & relaxing, stimulating teaching ethos to inspire & empower minds of all ages but also now have multiple outdoor learning areas and a BRAND NEW UNIQUE Woodland Classroom coming soon to use instead of my inside classroom to fulfil Covid-19 safety suggestions of learning more outdoors.
Empowering Little Minds Education Consultancy is flexible & multi-faceted, delivering teaching & training, both at HQ in Ballynahinch Co.Down & also throughout N. Ireland. The purpose is not only to empower children, but also to provide interactive sessions for older people (60yrs+) and training workshops on SEN strategies for charities, parents or education professionals.

COVID-19 FREE WORLD-WIDE SUPPORT
I endeavour through this business to support the needs of children whenever I can. I always prioritise to put people before profit & since I closed my business on 15th March 2020, I have provided my time and expertise for free to many parents and teachers all over the world.
During 1st & 2nd Lock Downs, I gave away over 30,000 FREE training & resource downloads to support people all over the world. I have not received any Government funding or support grants during this Covid-19 Pandemic, but still tried to prioritise the needs of the children to continue to facilitate support when I could.
Christmas Sensory Sunday Charity Event
on Sunday 23rd December 2019
WE would like to thank all that supported us with our first Charity Christmas Sensory Sunday event held at HQ on 23rd December 2019. It was a great success & created many special Christmas memories for all 30 families who attended, while also raising £400 for Mencap N.Ireland.
Each family had time during their 1 hour slot to enjoy our new tree house play equipment, as well as indoor & outdoor Sensory Play activities and an individual family visit to see Santa.
Altogether, we raised £400 for Mencap N.Ireland to support the Early Years Mencap centre in Belfast.
