Welcome to Empowering Little Mind SEN Nanny Services. 

 

The SEN Nanny service is a very unique service, the first of its kind in Northern Ireland, created to empower both parents & little sensory explorers in their own home or widen their experience through adventures out & about.

 

As an experienced SEN teacher the focus of all my sessions will be on co-regulating your child's individual needs with specific emphasis on sensory or emotional regulation needs as well as life skills & communication behaviour support needs.

SEN nanny weekly sessions are available both during term time & holiday periods. My working week= Wednesday to Sunday. All sessions are booked in advance & for all new students prior to starting a parents consultation (£35) & play assessment (£35) is required. 

What can SEN Nanny support with?
-Going on family holidays, preparing & supporting your sensory learners for new sensory/emotional regulation experiences. 
-school pickups when your SEN child is at a different school to your other children
-behaviour support strategies at home,
-helping set up structure or schedules at your home,
-setting up or providing sensory/emotional regulation play at home,
-helping positively expose your little learners to new adventures out & about
-simply looking after your little sensory learners at your home to give you a chance to have some respite or go out on appointments or dinner dates.  

This is a unique service which works best on a 1-1 basis to enable me to really get to know & empower your SEN child's sensory/emotional regulation needs, to help model play or shadow your child while out & about to create positive new sensory experiences, but should you require additional children to be supported as well, it is possible for me to bring my SEN assistant with me also to support sibling groups if necessary. 

For longer term sign ups only I'm happy to offer this under your Direct Payments (DP) as the paperwork with your SEN social worker can take some time but if I am already registered for DP with you that is easy.

-Price starts from £25 per hour +++ (2 hour minimum booking)
+ mileage costs (£0.50 per mile)
+ entrance fee to any attractions
+ activity resources or food/snacks costs
 
-Prior to sessions starting there is an initial 1hour parent consultation (£35) &/or at least 1 play/safety assessment at my woodland HQ before taking all new sensory learners out on sensory adventures (£35).

Levels of SEN Nanny Provision Available:
1. ​Level 1= £25 p/hr ++ To provide 1:1 sensory adventures & life skill visits around N.Ireland.

2. Level 2= £35 p/hr ++ With 1 assistant to work along side  me to support swimming visits or for longer day trips. This option is also available when required to look after multiple children.

3. Level 3= £50 p/hr ++ To provide more specific SEN Teaching or communication/behaviour support

 

4. Level 4= £35 p/hr parent consultations. 
 

 5. Level 5= Overnight or holidays support - Price personalised on  request.
